Accomodation

Shared house with other climbers. Old timber house from 1850 with low standard. Carry water and toilet funktion in outhouse. The house is heated and has electricity and wifi. Big parking and place for caravans. Renovation is ongoing and will continue for a few more years.

300 sek/ bed / night. Minimum 2 guests. 

150 sek / parking for camper van / night. Max 1500 W.

Around 5h drive north from Stockholm. Nearest city is Sundsvall (50 km)with hotel and restaurants. Liden village (4 km) offers service with grocery shop, bed and breakfast and some more places to stay.

Equipment

We can offer some ice axes and crampons for rent. Not stored in the house and must be pre booked.

Iceclimbing

From the house are trails leading to 8 areas with many different routes. 300-1200m walk on marked trails. Snowshoes is normally not needed except after heavy snowfalls. Guide in Swedish can be downloaded for free on the main page. Some hard steep routes but the area is mostly known for moderate climbs with easy access and a long season. Normal season is mid November - mid April.

Rock climbing.

Near the house is Göteborgsväggen located. A well developed sport crag with mainly steep climbing in the upper grades. Is on 27 crags. More development is ongoing in the area.
